Ambiguous problems hate to see me coming. Competing constraints, half-baked technologies, and imperfect conditions are usually where I do my best work. I’m drawn to systems problems, and I hold a high bar for craft.

Over the last decade, I’ve shipped products (and worked on plenty that never shipped) across hardware, health, and AI at Jawbone, Fjord, Google, and Verily. Whether I’m pushing a pixel or leading a team, what keeps me motivated is the chance to turn uncertainty into products that actually matter.
